What's the cost?

To provide pricing for an event we need a few bits of information. Type of event, date, and location (City/State). Fastest way for us to get a quote to you is to fill out the form here.

What DJ am I booking?

We match your event with a DJ from our roster about 30 days out. So before 30 days you're in communication with the iSound office team until the month before. Most of our DJ's are performing 40+ gigs a year, that's a lot of songs/details to keep track of. So for clearer, better communication, 30 days is about the sweet spot for us.

We pick your DJ based on general vibe of the event, which iSound DJ's have worked your venue before or with any of your vendors. Also your music taste and style play a role in how we choose your DJ as well.

What is the difference in wedding DJ packages?

Mostly, the difference is time.
All packages include microphones, speakers, a DJ/EMCEE, dance lighting, etc.

The 4 hour package generally works for just dinner and dancing.

The 6 hour package generally works for dinner, dancing, cocktail hour, and ceremony.

The 8 hour package is all listed before plus your late night aftery party vibe. You get upgraded lighting, audio, DJ Facade, and a premium DJ (One of our best). So whether or not you plan on using the full 8 hours, you get our very best.

What is the contingency plan in case my DJ has an emergency?

On any given Saturday, we like to have a DJ on standby. We say he is in charge of flat tires, bad wires, and outliers.

How does payment work/securing my date?

We have two payment options and a payment either way secures your date: payment in full & 50/50 plan.

Payment in full receives a 10% discount.

50/50 plan is our half now - half later option. You miss out on the 10% discount but you only need to pay half to secure your date. The second payment is due 30 days before your event date.

What's your weather policy?

Our weather policy is the equipment can't get damaged but we're not divas.

If it's hot, we'll sweat. If it's cold, we'll shiver. If it's raining we need our gear to be out of the wet. Electronics and water don't mix. Same goes for too much sun as that can overheat the equipment, and wind if it keeps knocking our gear over.

Usually a tent fixes all problems.

Can I book the DJ now and shop enhancements later?

Yes. You'd be in the majority on that one. 9 times out of 10 we run out of DJ's before uplights so book your DJ now and we can always add enhancements to our contract later.
